Joseph Boden
Professor and Director of the Christchurch Health and Development Study, University of Otago Christchurch
Professor Joseph Boden is the Director of the Christchurch Health and Development Study (CHDS), a longitudinal study of over 1000 people born in Christchurch New Zealand in mid-1977, and followed to the present day.
Originally trained as an experimental social psychologist, he received his PhD from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio in 1995, and later was a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Plymouth (UK) and the University of Southern Queensland (Australia). Professor Boden joined the CHDS as a Research Fellow in 2005, and was appointed Director in August 2019.
